Carolina Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Raleigh, North Carolina

Carolina Country Club first opened for play in 1910.  John LaFoy did a redesign on this course in 1990.

Originally named the Raleigh Country Club, the name was changed to Carolina Country Club in 1918. The course, when built in 1910 was about two miles outside the city limits. At that time, Raleigh had a population of a less than 20,000.

Carolina Country Club is the oldest and most prestigious playground for Raleigh's wealthy. The membership initiation fee is reported to be $46,000 (as of 2016), but it has a waiting list of about 10 years.

This traditional-style course is very hilly. The greens are undulating and the fairways are plush. There are out-of-bounds stakes lining half of the holes.

The signature hole is #11, a 160-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to an island green.
